Pair of two andirons in iron. The frame is decorated with gustavian decorations in brass. An andiron is placed in the fireplace and the firewood is stacked is then stacked on the andiron. This help to create a better draft and also makes the fire easier to light. Manufactured during the late 1700s. The andirons have some natural wear.
