Neoclassical wall table in folk art from northern Sweden. It’s from the province Hälsingland and the village Forsa around 1790. Made from painted pine with original blue paint and traces of the original decoration paint. Straight tapered legs with vertical flutes. 2 drawers with additional storage space underneath the table top, which folds up. In the bottom of the storage space there’re carved decorations – see picture. The rim on the table top has cut outs that looks like s’es. Original hand wrought hinges. The edge on one of the drawers has traces of an old repair – see picture. Healthy and solid frame.
