Rococo long case clock with a case in pine and dry scraped to the original first layer of paint. The clock is a so called Fryksdals clock named after the village Fryksdalen in Värmland where it’s originally from. Made in Sweden between 1810 and 1820 in the typical rococo style with exaggerated curves and fine details. The black rim by the floor is newer since the late 1800s. Healthy and solid frame. The clock comes with the original clockwork, two iron weights and pendulum. The clock mechanism is serviced to working condition however we don’t leave any guarantees on the future function.
