Swedish Grace armchairs from the 1930s made in birch and pine. The chairs are bare wood and has the typical characteristics of Swedish design from the period. Featuring balanced lines and functional elegance. The chairs are of a style reminiscent of Axel Einar Hjort, which became especially popular for furnishing weekend cabins and holiday homes.
Most likely made by Hägglund & Sönder in Örnsköldsvik, established in 1899. The design is unknown. The company still exist as a part of BAE Systems AB who today are most known for their manufacturing of tracked vehicles both for military and civilian use. The chairs are in good vintage condition consistent with age and with smaller traces of use.
