Solid cast iron table made in Sweden during the late 1800s by Skoglund & Olson. The company was established in 1874 by Erik Gustaf Skoglund and Axel Olson as a foundry in Gävle. This table is on the smaller side but stands solid and robust due to it being made in iron. The material and patina creates an attractive contrast to the more delicate detailing on the leg and foot.
The surface of the table is raw and waxed and it can be used both inside and outside. It would make a good fit for both a greenhouse or patio as much as a living room or hallway for an extra antique detail and character. The table is marked on the foot. The foot itself is round and ornamented with three claw feet.
