Small gustavian bureau or nightstand from Sweden made during the last years of the 18th century, 1790 to 1800. The bureau has a straight shape with doors and a drawer as well as an extendable table top. Made in painted pine with the original first layer of paint that has the authentic patina and distress. Healthy and solid frame. The bureau has the original handles in brass but the lock to the doors is missing. The height to the table top is 68 cm and the edge wrapping around the sides and back is another 4 cm.
