Rare genuine root bowl from northern Sweden made during the first few years of the 19th century, around 1810 to 1820. The bowl is in untouched condition with an attractive patina. The wood has a soft surface after 250 years of use. It is unusually large with original hand wrought handles in iron. The bowl has an old repair from the 1800s.
