Antique genuine Swedish sideboard from the Gustavian period, also known as neoclassical. The sideboard is handcrafted in solid Swedish pine, dating back to 1790 to 1800. It has scraped to original paint with a unique rustic patina. The interior features shelves and 2 drawers at the top. The doors are adorned with fluted decor and carved wooden heads portraying St. Erik, the patron saint of Stockholm. The sideboard includes its original working lock and key, as well as original hardware. There are some minor dry cracks on the upper and lower edges of the doors, on the side of the hinges—please refer to the pictures. This does not affect the functionality of the piece. The height to the table top is 117.5 cm and the trim around the back is another 7 cm.
