Rare folk art bench or sofa from northern Sweden, unusually well-crafted with decorative panels and sculpted legs. It features carved wooden decorations at the top of the backrest and was handcrafted in solid pine around 1820. The untouched original paint shows minor traces of use, primarily on the front of the armrests, refer to pictures. The piece is healthy and stable. The seat has been recently made with new upholstery in linen fabric. Additionally, there is a generous amount of storage space underneath the seat. The depth measurements are taken from the outer and inner side respectively.
