Antique Swedish sofa in gustavian style. The sofa is a genuine country house furniture made by hand around 1820 in northern Sweden. The frame is made in solid pine and the surface has been dry scraped by hand down to the first layer of paint, creating a unique rustic patina. Hand carved wooden decor. There is practical storage underneath the seat, the seat which is new and upholstered in unbleached linen fabric.
