Antique Swedish rococo desk from the late 1700s. The desk is a country house furniture in rococo style with a large drawer. Heavily curved rococo legs and also a curved table top and front. Made by hand with a frame in solid pine in northern Sweden around 1790. The desk has old historic paint from the mid 1800s which has patina and distress after 200 years of use, mainly on the table top and ends of the legs. The table top has some minor dry cracks between the different boards – nothing that affects function or stability. Height to the apron is 56 cm.
