Carl Malmsten Samsas armchairs for O.H. Sjögren from the mid 20th century. The chairs are a Swedish modern classic and the Samsas series is today recognised as the most characteristic designs from Malmsten. The armchairs Samsas is a 1960s favourite that has its origin in the chair Konsert which Carl Malmsten designed for Konserthuset in 1923. The chairs are elegant with smaller measurements but still has generous proportions that makes them comfortable as well as stylish.

The chairs would be excellent in all types of environments and styles. From the typical Scandinavian modern to midcentury and traditional. Classic design never goes out of style. The armchairs are newly renovated with new upholstery. Designed by Carl Malmsten and made by O.H. Sjögren and marked with metal plates, see picture. The chairs are upholstered in white wool bouclé from Finnish manufacturer Lauritzon. The seat depth is 51 cm and seat height 42 cm.
