Country home dining table in folk art from Sweden. The table is well suited to hold two chairs on each of the longer sides. Made during the 1820s to 1830s the table is solid pine with a heavy table top. The table is a solid staple that has stood the test of time. The robust construction and durable material lends itself to daily use while adding the rustic country character to the space.
The table top consist of only 3 thick boards of pine where the surface has a unique patina after 200 years of use. The legs frame is also pine and can be taken apart where it’s held together by wedges on both sides. The table has old paint from the 1800s with the authentic distress and patina of use. The table top has two older repairs – see close up pictures.
