Swedish folk art cabinet from northern Sweden. The model is often called Lockne cabinets because they were manufactured in the area surrounding the village Lockne in Jämtland. The cabinet is dry scraped to the first layer of paint from the late 1700s. Original working lock and key. The cabinet is in two parts and manufactured during the late 1700s.
