Hat table from Hälsingland. The hat table or mössbord gained its name from its purpose. Typically found directly inside the front door the hat table was where the master would place his hat. Manufactured from Swedish pine around the year 1800 in Hälsingland, a province in northern Sweden. With two drawers and additional storage space under the table top.

Original and fully functional lock and key. Some of the boards in the back are later changes from the 1930s. The table is solid and and the frame is stable. As a genuine antique the table will have some imperfections due to age and use.
