Antique folk art box, a so called Forskrin which was used when travelling for storing documents and valuables around the late 1700s. Made in northern Sweden from solid pine with hand wrought hardware in iron. Original condition and original paint. Lock and key is missing. The lid also doesn’t close completely. It hits the base on the left side, as the wood in the lid has become slightly skewed over time – see picture.
