Antique Swedish ”Kubbstol” or ”Stockstol” as they are also known. The chair is a primitive furniture made by hand from one large, solid log of wood. The log has then been hollowed and shaped into the current form. Made from pine around the turn of the century 1800 to 1900 in Sweden. The model of chair has very old ancestry dating all the way back to the 1600s. This chair has a newly made cushion which is upholstered in bouclé fabric. There is a smaller dry crack in the backrest on the left side, see picture.
