Antique Swedish tall sideboard in an unusually tall and narrow model with an uncommon function. Underneath the table top the sideboard has a large sugar hack attached. This is very unusual to see and the most likely reason is that the sideboard was made for the kitchen of a very large estate or for a farm shop. The sugar hack or knife was used to split sugar into smaller pieces.
The sideboard has a double door at the bottom which opens to two shelves. It is in untouched original condition with the original first white paint which has gained a charming patina and distress after 200 years of use. The doors have the original lock and key and they are in working condition. The sideboard is 54 cm wide including the moulding.
