Chair by Carl-Gustaf Hjort af Ornäs. The model is called Trienna and is made by Hiort Tuote, Puunveisto Oy Träsnideri AB during the mid 20th century. The chair has a frame in oak with braided leather bands in the back and around the armrests. Loose cushions on the seat and back, the cushions are also recently upholstered in new light fabric.

Being one of the bigger Scandinavian mid century designers the name Hjort af Ornäs carries weight. And looking at this chair it’s easy to see why. It’s a timeless design that is just as current today as it was when it was made. The high quality materials have the genuine patina of time and only look better with age.
