Elegant demi lune table in gustavian style with straight tapered legs from Northern Sweden. The table is from around 1850 to 1860 and painted with the original untouched faux paint. The table consist of two half circle tables with three legs each. The two halves make a nice pair and can be used either together to create a larger round table or be placed separately against a wall or section. Because there are two halves they make an especially impressive display standing next to each other.
The table is an untouched original furniture with paint that’s over 170 years old. So there are some traces and marks of use. Especially the table tops have some distress. Because of the faux paint and deep colours the table is very dynamic and will likely play off its surroundings well. Healthy and solid with a stable frame.
