Folk art secretary cabinet in two parts. The secretary cabinet has two large drawers, a writing desk and two upper doors with shelves inside. Original paint and dated 1818 on the pediment. The paint is distressed by time and use and has some wear. The cabinet is from Northern Sweden and is unusually decorated. The frame itself is straight and solid with sharp lines and a strong accentuated pediment. The paint is detailed around the sides of the drawers, across the doors and over the pediment. The motif is mainly floral with some additional patterns and will undoubtedly draw the eye, making the whole cabinet stand out.

Original hardware and lock but only the lock to the doors on the upper cabinet work. The left door of the upper cabinet has a new list where it meets the right door, likely since the late 1800s – see detail picture. Height to the desk is 74 cm and the depth is measured on the lower cabinet. The width is measured on the cabinet itself and does not include the pediment.
