Genuine antique wooden bowl from Sweden made by hand around 1840 to 1850. Oval shape in original condition with natural distress and patina after 200 years of use. There is a smaller hole in the side which has been there from the beginning – most likely after a twig dried out. The blue paint is special, the pigment was very expensive at the time so it was only the wealthiest households which could afford painting their objects blue.
