Genuine unusual dining table or work table from Härjedalen in Northern Sweden. The table is made around 1820 with a primitive construction in never-painted pine. Made by hand with a substantial table top, measuring 5 cm thick, on a robust leg frame with crossed legs. The table also has a large drawer.
The table top is very thick and made out of just two boards, with some traces of 19th century graffiti. The surface and patina of the pine is light and attractive after 200 years of use. The bottom of the drawer has traces of an old repair from the late 1800s where a new bottom has been made from old sugar crates.
