Northern Swedish commode from the transition time between the gustavian and empire period. The commode has three large drawers and two small ones. Made between 1810 and 1820 from painted pine with original faux paint. Red frame and a blue table top with original hardware as well as the original lock and key. Clean and fresh insides in bare pine and good quality carpentry. Healthy and solid frame. Because it’s a furniture with original paint there are some marks after 200 years of use. The rim by the wall at the left side has a smaller loss of material – see picture.
