Pair of Schulz Easy Chairs – Otto Schulz Lounge Chairs

Otto Schulz was active during parts of the 20th century and these lounge chairs were designed in 1936 and manufactured by Jio Furniture. The pillows or cushions are original and the current upholstery is a dark blue fabric. The chairs are in good vintage condition consistent with age and use. There are minor marks on the fabric and the padding is dry in some places. The padding or foam used dries with time and loses some of its elasticity making it hard.

Otto Schultz was a Swedish interior architect, writer and designer. He was born in Germany and moved to Sweden 1907. Schultz then started the furniture business Boet in Gothenburg in 1920.
