Scandinavian modern sofa ”Samsas” by Carl Malmsten for O.H Sjögren in Tranås. The sofa is a mid-century modern classic with a solid pine frame and red toned upholstery. The sofa, often regarded as the quintessential embodiment of Malmsten’s style, stands as an iconic and timeless piece. A great example of mid century modern Scandinavian design. Designed in 1960. The sofa has the original upholstery and is in good vintage condition consistent with age and use. There are some minor marks on the legs, mainly close to the floor – see picture.
