Slim gustavian side table from northern Sweden. The table is a good example of Swedish antique country furniture from 1780 to 1790. Made in painted pine with the original paint and authentic patina after 250 years of use. Straight tapered legs and rim with a ribbed decor. The drawer have original hand carved wooden decorations and later hardware. Healthy and solid frame. An unusual but fun detail is the table’s construction – two wrought iron pins at the back of the drawer is what holds it in place. Height to rim is 59 cm.
