Small folk art table from northern Sweden made around 1850. The table is painted pine with the original first layer of paint that has the authentic patina of time. The paint has also become distressed after almost 200 years of use. The table also has a single drawer in the centre.
The legs are a fun detail on this table. They are turned which creates the spheres and profiled edges and they also have the original blue paint which sets them apart from the rest of the table. The table is on the smaller side with a rustic patina and characterful appearance. The distressed two-toned paint and areas where the wood underneath shines trough marks the age and history of the piece.
