Unique Swedish baroque table made by hand during the mid 1700s. The table is a very rare example of early Swedish furniture and has a frame in pine with heavy, solid lathed legs. The table has a fantastic patina as the surface has been left untouched and been allowed to age naturally for almost 300 years. Due to the age the wood has taken on a grey tone and groved surface. The table top is made of only 3 solid boards of wood. The table top is also loose and can be lifted off the leg frame. Original hand-made drawer pull to the drawer in iron. This is a heavy and solid table that has history and heritage written in every line and groove.
